Split Stance RDL
The split stance Romanian deadlift (RDL) is a great tool for isolating one leg at a time for the hinge pattern without having the balance be as much of a limiting factor. It’s a great exercise for the development of the hamstrings and glutes and it helps progress people to the single-leg Romanian deadlift.
The keys are:
flat back
chin tucked
aim to keep front shin vertical
stride length roughly 1-1.5 feet
sit into the working hip
