Benefits:

Vitamin A is a fat-soluble nutrient that assists with health of the eyes, skin, teeth and both skeletal and soft tissue.

Insufficient consumption of Vitamin A can lead to eye problems and dry skin.

 

Side Effects:

In some people, overconsumption (many mg’s per day) can result in orange-yellow skin

 

Nutrient Sources:

People commonly consume Vitamin A in the form of Beta-Carotene, but the nutrient is found in meat, eggs, and certain fish (cod/halibut).

 

Dosing:

1mg per day
